To co-memorate the 1st Death Anniversary of the Legend. Presented by his daughter Subhashini Sheopori under her banner SWAR SAGARIKA.
The nostalgic evening began with three heart touching ghazals of Qamar Jalalabadi rendered with amazing versatility by a budding young Ghazal singer Jasvindar Singh. Songs from films like Howrah Bridge and Chhalia were performed.
It was an emotional ride through the dusty archives of the music world. Subhashini disclosed how her Ladies Group, Swar Sagarika had pledged to preserve vintage songs and names of lyricists of the past.
